To check the global Time To First Byte (TTFB) of Greengeeks and Bluehost, I did the research for 10 different country locations and got the following results:
The average TTFB for Greengeeks was 0.313 seconds, and the average TTFB for Bluehost was 0.347 seconds.
Based on these results, Greengeeks has a faster global TTFB than Bluehost.
Core WebVitals
To check the Core WebVitals of Greengeeks and Bluehost, I used Google PageSpeed Insights.
Core WebVitals are metrics that measure the performance of a website.
The three Core WebVitals that I checked were Largest Contentful Paint (LCP), Total Blocking Time (TBT), and Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS).
The average LCP for Greengeeks was 584seconds, and the average LCP for Bluehost was 789 seconds.
Total Blocking Time (TBT) for Greengeeks was 0.167 seconds, and the average FID for Bluehost was 0.171 seconds.
The average CLS for Greengeeks was 0.05 seconds, and the average CLS for Bluehost was 0.07 seconds.
Based on the results of these tests, Greengeeks has better Core WebVitals than Bluehost. But the difference doesn’t seem to be much, to be honest here.
